Sharon Rose
Pollina
Mar 1, 1954 — Nov 30, 2021
Sharon Rose Pollina was called home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the young age of 67, doing what she did best and what she loved to do more than anything, feeding her family and spending all of her time with her children and grandchildren.
Sharon was born March 1st, 1954, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Robert E. Schaefer and Santa Marie Sciortino. She had two loving brothers Bob and Dan Schaefer. Sharon graduated from Glennon High school and began her family in 1978. She was blessed with four children: Frank (Mindy), Bobby (Jennifer), JoMarie (Stephen), and Rose Marie (Marco). In 2001, Damon McReynolds devoted himself to Sharon and they were blessed to have 20 loving years together. Everyone came to know her as Nonnie. She was a selfless woman who lived for her family, which extended further than her own immediate. Her legacy will live on through her grandchildren Joseph, Monica (Tyler), Marco, Brayan, Joey, Louis, Erika, Nico, Santina, Stevie Joe, and Madonna.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. on Monday, December 6, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bobby, Marco, Joseph, Joey, Brayan, and Louis.
