Sharon Sercu, 60, Liberty, MO, passed away Monday, April 7, 2014. Visitation will be 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 3106 Flora Ave., Kansas City, MO 64109, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. The Requiem Mass will be 8:15 a.m. Friday, April 11, at the Church. Burial will follow in Rountree Cemetery near Wheatland, MO.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Helen Martin. She is survived by her husband, Jim Sercu; her sons, J.T. and Matt (Ashley); granddaughter, M'Kenna; and siblings, Arnold Martin, Charlene Tipton, Joyce Cooley, Rhoda Vernassie, and Dan Martin.

Sharon was a sweet, loving person, a great cook, and adored her granddaughter.
