Shelley L. Pileggi, age 74, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully at her home on October 30, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Charlsie Pileggi. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law John and Anita Pileggi; her nephews Joe (Michelle), Frank (Rorry), Phil (Whitney); and niece Maria (Howie); great-nephews and great-nieces Megan, John, Nick, Josh, Sammy, Lena, Lucy, Luke, and Adam; cousins John G., Andrew (Susie) David, Katie and Anna Maria (Opal) Pileggi, Leroy (Kathy), Robbie (Janet), Jered, Jason and Jeremy Mantle, Velda Party and Jimmy, Zelda, Backues, Renilda Howard, Renard and Harold Mantle, and many more cousins and friends.

Shelley graduated from St. Pius X High School, and went on to receive degrees in counseling, and adult and higher education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She then moved on and achieved various supervisory and management positions in business industries.

Beyond her professional achievements, she was passionate about travel and spending time with her niece and nephews. She spent many Christmas Eves at her brother's home putting together toys for Christmas morning. She found joy in spending time with all the Mantle cousins.

All of the family is saddened by her death, and we wish her eternal peace.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 30, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Pius X High School in her memory.
