Stefano "Mike" Ferro, 90, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014. Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, October 5, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 5 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 p.m. Monday, October 6, at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 6415 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Stefano was born September 23, 1924, in Camporeale Palermo, Sicily, to Stefano and Maria (Ilardi) Ferro. He was a truck driver for Budweiser for 27 years before he retired, and was a member of the Camporealese Society. Stefano was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers and sisters; and son-in-law, Joseph Ferro.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Damiana (Sarro) Ferro; his children and their spouses, Maria Ferro, Steven and Ester Ferro, Frank and Cathleen Ferro, Anthony Ferro, Esta and Joshua Mygatt; grandchildren, Dianna, Frank, Joanna, Samantha, Donamarie, Nina, Stefanie, Damiana, Richard "Stefanedo", Steven, Anthony, and Benjamin; brother and sister-in-law, Salvatore and Beatrice Ferro; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Anna and Jesse LaPuma, Vincent and Barbara Sarro, Tom Sarro, Nicolette and Ed Oliver; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
