Stephen Michael "Steve" Brancato, 63, passed away suddenly on October 27, 2023, at his home in Loch Lloyd, Missouri.
Steve was born on August 31, 1960, in Kansas City, MO. He attended Center High School and made long-standing friendships that would last throughout his life. Steve was instrumental in the success of multiple business ventures. His biggest accomplishments include growing Brancato's Catering and co-founding All Seasons Party and Tent Rental alongside his father, Nathaniel, his brother, Mario, and his nephew, Andrew. His work ethic and dedication allowed him to retire at the early age of 55. He was a devoted father who always made time for his children and never failed to express how proud he was of them. Steve had a variety of hobbies and interests, which included attending concerts, relaxing on the beach or poolside, and spending time on the golf course. He was a generous man who saw the best in others and had a positive impact on those around him. His family and friends will cherish his words of wisdom and infectious sense of humor. They find comfort in knowing he will be greeted at the gates of heaven by his loved ones.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel, and mother, Carmeline (Cosentino) Brancato, his grandparents, Helen and Steve Cosentino, Josephine and Mario Brancato, and his cousins, Jack Accurso and Mario S. Brancato.
He is survived by his daughters, Gina (Taylor) Canseco and Nicole (Peter) Clark, his two grandchildren, Blaine and Rylie Clark, his brothers, Mario (Laura) Brancato and Nathaniel (Kelly) Brancato, and his sister, Jo Anna Brancato-Janesko.
Services will be held on Monday, November 6, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. with Reflections at 10:45 a.m. and the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow the Mass. Steve will be laid to rest next to his parents at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, MO.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Steve Brancato, a loving father, dedicated businessman, and cherished family member. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
