Stephen Michael Yarkasky, 70 of Independence, Missouri, passed away on June 5, 2022, at Centerpointe Medical Center, surrounded by family.

Stephen was born December 10, 1951, to the late Robert and Shirley Yarkasky. He enjoyed his work and ended his career as a Sales Estimator at Wilkerson Construction. He was an Eagle Scout and a Firebuilder in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. Stephen retired to Warsaw, Missouri and became an avid fisherman and relished spending time on Turman Lake. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, riding his Harley Davidson and touring around in his Corvette. He fulfilled one of his life-long dream adventures of winter-birding in Mercedes, Texas, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Alpha (Toots), whom he married on July 11, 2005, in Independence, Missouri. He is also survived by his family, Donna (Ron, deceased) Engle; Penny (Rick) McCurry; Paul (Megan) Yung; Robyn (Chris) Bennett; Andy Inzerillo and Leslie Soza. In addition, he had 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

He will be missed by many.
