Steve S. DeFeo, 68, passed away peacefully and in the Lord's care on May 21, 2018, at Autumn Leaves of Lee's Summit. The Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. followed by Visitation from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 25, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Family & Friends will gather on Saturday, May 26, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Dr., Kansas City, MO 64118, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Steve was born August 25, 1949, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Tom and Antoinette (Schembre) DeFeo and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1967 graduate of Northeast High School and a graduate of Central Missouri State University. Steve retired from Mobil Oil after 25 years and worked for Commerce Bank where he was vice-president of Advanced Products / Technology Services for 20 years before he retired.
Steve was a loving son and brother who was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Dino DeFeo. He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Victor Grego, Marian and Chris Siebenmorgan; his brother, Tom DeFeo; nephews and niece, Phillip Joseph Giglio, Chris and Kinsey Huwaldt, Stephen DeFeo; and cousin, Catherine Sarno
