Suzanne "Suz" Accurso, 30, Greenwood, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 2, 2016. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Rd., Lee's Summit, MO 64081, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Mount Olivet Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Suzanne was born July 4, 1985, in Kansas City, MO, to Rob and Dottie Accurso. She was a 2004 graduate of Lee's Summit High School after which she received a bachelor's degree from the University of Kansas where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Her infectious smile, huge heart, and firecracker personality spread to everyone she knew or met.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maxine E. Accurso, and Raymond W. and Eileen M. Potvin. She is survived by her parents, Rob and Dottie Accurso; sisters, Amanda Accurso and Brooke Accurso; future brother-in-law, L.J. Foster; nephew, Brian Parker; grandfather, Jack A. Accurso; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
