Ted Mandacina, 55, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, November 17, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Funeral Home.
Ted was born in Kansas City, MO, on June 25, 1961. He was raised in the Northeast Kansas City area. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Sam and Lucille Mandacina; and his brother Sam Mandacina. He is survived by his mother, Roselyn; his children, Francesca (Jesus) and Nicholas Mandacina; their mother, Roxanne Cabrera; and granddaughters, Gianna and Jaselle Castillo. He is also survived by his brother, Jack Weber; sisters and brothers-in-Law, Danita and Steve Palma, Lanita and Mike Bax; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that love and will miss him.
Being the oldest of five siblings, family was always most important to Ted. He grew up going to his grandparent's lake house where he and his brothers developed a love for the outdoors and hunting. He enjoyed the time he was able to spend with this family and friends, especially if he was able to cook for them. Ted was most proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
