Teresa Martino, 84, passed away April 24, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. A Prayer Service will begin at 4 p.m. followed by Visitation 4:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Family & Friends will gather on Friday, April 27, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42

Teresa was born on January 28, 1934, in Siculiana, Sicily, to Giuseppe and Paulina Guadagnano. She came to the United States at the age of 18. Teresa was a loving and nurturing wife, mother and grandmother. She lived for time spent with her family that she truly adored. She always put her loved ones before herself and was known for her sweet and caring nature. Teresa loved to garden and enjoyed planting herbs and an array of flowers that were as beautiful as she was. She was genuinely blessed and her family was blessed to have her. Teresa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Salvatore Guadagnano; her sister, Anna Davis; step-sons, Rick and Ron Martino; and step-grandchildren, Tracy and Jonas.
S urvivors include her husband of 58 years, John Martino; her children, Jasper Martino (Anna), Joseph Martino (Lisa), Rosara Anselmo (Edward), step-daughter, Roxanne McCoy; her grandchildren, Teresa and John A. Martino, John J. and Charlie Martino, Angelo and Giovanni Anselmo, Rose Mary Mandacina, Joanna Livingston (Cody); and great-grandson, William; step-grandchildren, James, Rona, Roxanne, R.J, Jeff, Janelle, Janacae, Jena, and Christy; her siblings, Vincie Guadagnano Wise, Anthony Guadagnano (Debbie), Josephine Niebergall; sister-in-law, Katherine Kern (William); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
