Terry Lynn Neustadt, 74 of Overland Park, Kansas died peacefully at Saint Luke's Hospice House surrounded by her family.

Terry was born May 10, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri to James and Mary Lou (Applebee) Neustadt.  She graduated from Center High School in Kansas City, Missouri and attended Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri.

Terry was naturally gifted in retail sales and began her long career in sales at the family business, Burstein-Applebee in Kansas City.  In 1980, she and her parents opened a retail coffee and gift shop at Oak Park Mall called Coffee Selection which Terry managed for nearly twenty years. Her last sales position lasted nineteen years at Crate and Barrel in Leawood, Kansas.

Terry will be remembered for her kind, outgoing and generous spirit and her willingness to share anything with family, friends, colleagues and neighbors.

She is survived by brothers, James Neustadt, Jr. and Bill Neustadt, nieces and nephews, Jason Neustadt, Maggie Neustadt, Betsie Ostermyer, Jill Hyland, and Ben Neustadt, and nine great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of a formal service, friends and family will gather at a later date to celebrate her life and legacy.
