Thomas J. Ribaudo, 77, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017, at Menorah Medical Center. He was cremated according to his wishes. A Memorial Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124.
Thomas was born April 7, 1939, in Northeast Kansas City, MO, to Joseph and Grace (Scavuzzo) Ribaudo. He worked as a meat cutter for S&S Meat Co. before owning and operating several establishments including Mr. O'Brien's, Chicks, Michael's, Platinum, and Tangos. He enjoyed playing golf, watching boxing, going to the movies, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his step-father Percy Barnes, and nephew Johnny Corbett. Survivors include his wife, Jenny Ribaudo; his children and their spouses, Cherrie Ribaudo, Debbie and Andrew Zuniga, Vincent and JoAnna Ribaudo; grandchildren, Stevie Jo Clark, Colette and Carl Ferrara; great-grandchildren, Carter and Josephine Clark; sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Albert Simsheuser; aunt, Molly Scavuzzo; nephew, Tim Simsheuser; and many cousins and friends.
