Vicki Sue Barba, 71, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022. She was preceded in death by her mother Lupe (Sanchez) Barba, brother Joseph F. Barba, sister Maria Teresa Barba and grandmother Paula (Hernandez) Sanchez.

Vicki graduated from Northeast High School in 1968 and moved to Venice, CA where she was employed by Penn Life Insurance Company for nearly 30 years. She lived in Santa Monica, CA; Raleigh, NC and Las Vegas, NV before returning to Kansas City, Missouri to be close to family.

She is survived by her loving brother and sister- in-law Richard and Patricia Barba. Nieces, Paula Barba, Jennifer Thomas, Victoria Jutting (Dusty), Angela Campbell (Rich), Kathy Minturn, Lisa Armato (Carl), Teresa Barba, and nephew Rick Barba. Great-niece and nephews  Analisa Lupercio (Michael), Paul Anthony Barba (Samantha) and Anthony Armato, great-great nephews, Michael and Owen Barba and her uncle, Sal Sanchez (Sue), Minden, NV. And last, but not least, her cat "Drip" who was her pride and joy.

Vicki also leaves behind many Hernandez and Sanchez cousins, but had a special relationship with cousins Barbara Muro, Andy Hernandez and Sandra Campos.

Vicki loved animals, visiting with her family, friends, neighbors, and enjoyed working at Pet Smart.

Special thank you to the caregivers from McCrite Plaza at Briarcliff, especially Nurse Loran.  Additionally, Tasha and Katie with KC Hospice.  Mass and private entombment will be set for a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery, Culver City, CA.
