Obituary

Victor Joseph Ferrara was born March 30, 1924, and passed away to our Lord on June 29, 2015, at the age of 91. He died peacefully doing his favorite thing, watching the Kansas City Royals.

He was in the Air Force and was a World War II Veteran. Victor owned Frank's Place on 18th and Cherry, where he worked until he retired. He always had a smile and a generous heart. He would help his children and grandchildren with whatever they needed.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Mary Ferrara; his brother, Anthony; his daughter, Marianne (Ferrara) Hogan; and his son, Anthony Victor Ferrara. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Leonore (Fontana) Ferrara; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Nick Scimeca; son-in-law, Dennis Hogan (Renee); daughter-in-law, Barbara Ferrara Fitzgerald; and his 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Victor also leaves behind a special group of people who dined with him and kept him company the last two years of his life, Harry DeFeo, Mercedes and Mrs Pepper.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42nd Terr., Kansas City, MO 64116, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens

Pallbearers will be his grandsons Quinn Hogan, Alec Hogan, Colin Hogan, Michael Scimeca, Victor Scimeca, Gino Ferrara, and Anthony Ferrara
