Victor J. Fontana, 73, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012. The Rosary will be prayed at 3 p.m. followed by visitation from 3:30 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 28, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1357 NE 42nd Terr., Kansas City, MO 64116. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 29, at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum.

Victor was born July 5, 1939 in Kansas City, MO. He owned and operated several restaurants throughout the Kansas City area. He was preceded in death by his son, Frank Fontana; and his parents, Frank and Katie Fontana.

Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Tom Calia, Carol Jo and Henry Belfonte, Marie and Dominic Brancato; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Fontana; son, Tanner Fontana; grandchildren, Tommy, Victor, and Cari Ann Calia, David John, Franki, and Sal Michael Belfonte, Marie, Joe Frank, and Victor Joe Brancato, Nikki, Frankki, and Victor Joe Fontana; and sisters and brother-in-law, Marie Passantino, Leonore and Victor Ferrara.

Pallbearers will be Victor's grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers are Kathy Bonacorso and Mary Helen Sorrentino.
