Victor E. Glorioso, 58, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012, with his family at his side. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday, October 7, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 8, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 309 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Please omit flowers.

At the age of five years old Victor began drum lessons at Eddie Oyer Studio in Kansas City and by the time he was a young teenager he started a band with friends and they called themselves Clandestin. In college he was in the Conservatory of Performing Arts at UMKC. His passion was music, fast cars, the lake and boating. Victor owned and operated Vic's Auto Service from 1981 to 1996 and during that time he had a detail and body shop. He had a gift of listening to the engine and diagnosing the problem. When Vic was doing the things he enjoyed he shined. He loved his family and friends dearly and all who knew him loved him for his wittiness and joking ways. He was the life at every party. When Victor was stricken with MS six years ago, his life changed from the man who thought he could fly to the man with broken wings. Victor suffered dearly in his last few years of life on earth but he wouldn't have had it any other way but to have gone from broken wings to golden ones. His strong will and love for life kept him with continued hope as long as God allowed. He is now flying high and is at the top of the world looking down on all those he loved.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Catherine (Mancini) Glorioso; and his sister, Mary Ann. Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Joseph Michael and Rosemary Glorioso, Carl Victor Glorioso, Jason York and Anthony Glorioso DiRenna; the mother of his children, Cynthia Glorioso; grandchildren, Victor Joseph and Angelina; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Pat Glorioso, Jerry and Teresa Glorioso; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Vince Pace; his nephews who will be his pallbearers, Dean Glorioso, Anthony Glorioso, Phillip Glorioso, Matthew Pace, Vincent Glorioso, Frank Malvagna, John Ross Ferrara, Phillip Bolin; nieces, Jolynn Glorioso, Michelle Pace, Natalie Pace, Susan Glorioso, Alaina Ferrara, Andrea Armato, Gina Malvagna; great-nieces and nephews; uncles and aunts, Santo Glorioso, Mary Incaprera, Anna Piranio, Gloria and Kenneth Beard; many cousins; dear friend, Vonnie Occhipinto; and special relatives JoAnn and Tony Leardi, and Virginia Sue and Frank Santillan.
