Victoria Anne "Vicki" Brancato, 50, passed away on February 21, 2023.

Vicki was born on March 2, 1972, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Jack and Rosalind (Buccero) Brancato and lived in Blue Springs, Missouri. She attended Blue Springs schools and graduated from Blue Spring High School. Vicki was an animal lover and through the years she had many different pets, including her cat "Maxi," who adored Vicki and was her constant companion. She was fond of children and her happiest times were with her family, especially caring for her niece and nephews - she loved being their aunt.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father Jack Brancato; her grandparents Sam and Nellie (Giamalva) Buccero, Matthew and Frances (Asta) Brancato; and her uncles Larry Buccero and Jim Fitzgerald.

She is survived by her mother Rosalind Brancato; her sisters and their spouses Frances and Kirk Meany, Leanora and Michael Barreca; her niece Krista Sweet and husband Pat; and nephews Daniel P. Meany, Michael Anthony Barreca, and Jack Barreca. She is also survived by loving aunts and uncles Marion and Joan Brancato, Madelyn Fitzgerald, and Camille Buccero; loving cousins Stefani Brancato, Sam and Tonya Buccero, Larry and Amy Buccero, Matt and Angie Fitzgerald, Laura and Brent Benefiel, and Andrea and Frank Vovk; and her godparents Ginger (LoPorto) Brown and Jack Stasi.

The family wishes to thank the caring staff at St. Mary's Intensive Care Unit, especially nurses Jordan and Tere.

A Graveside Service & Rosary will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, at Mount Olivet Mausoleum. Instead of flowers, please make donations to The St. Jude Children's Hospital or Wayside Waifs.
