Vincent Louis Sciara, 85, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Vincent was born October 29, 1936, in Kansas City, MO, to Giuseppe and Catarina "Katie" (Monistere) Sciara. He worked 30+ years and retired from the University of Health Sciences (Kansas City University). He always greeted everyone with  a big smile and a jubilant "How come!".  He always remembered everyone's birthday, ages, anniversaries, and all milestones.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jean DeBarre, and brothers Joseph, Albert, and infant Vincent Sciara. Survivors include his sister Ida Fleshman, and many nieces and nephews.

Vincent's last words to his sister Ida were "I miss Momma and Daddy"
