Vincent F. "Hiway" Sorrentino, 88, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016. Visitation will be 9 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 21, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Please omit flowers.

Vincent worked in the produce business his entire life. He enjoyed playing poker and visiting the casinos. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Rose Sorrentino; his infant daughter, Rosemary Sorrentino; brothers and sisters-in-law, Al and Bernadine Sorrentino, John and Rose Sorrentino, Frank Sorrentino; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Al Robertson, and Mary and Armando Cavaliere, great-nephew, Michael Cavaliere.

Survivors include his sons, John and Carl Sorrentino; their mother, Joan Sorrentino; sister-in-law, Mary Sorrentino; and many nieces and nephews.
