Virginia Lee Campbell's Obituary
Virginia Lee (Paden) Campbell, 83, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 at her home. Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. Thursday, September 1, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where a Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Wayside Waifs.
Virginia was born January 4, 1928 to Albert and Mabel Paden, and was a lifelong member of Independence Blvd. Christian Church. She worked for the IRS and The Kansas City Star, but most important to her was her volunteer work with various PTA's and the Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary of which she was a Life Member. Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Chris Blair Campbell.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Campbell; and her foster grandson, Kyle Bost.
