Virginia Rose Imperiale, 94, passed away Friday, April 17, 2015, surrounded by family. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Virginia was born February 15, 1921, in Kansas City, MO, to Bennie and Anna Imperiale, and was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Parish where she was active with the choir and St. Joseph Table. She worked in the garment industry for many years and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Bennie and Kay, Jake and Vanda, Vince and Jeannine; and her brother-in-law, Frank Sorrentino. She is survived by her sister, Mary Sorrentino; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
