Virginia "Ginger" Lascuola, 78, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 25, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee's Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055. Entombment will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, at Mount Olivet Mausoleum.
Ginger Lascuola was born July 28, 1938, in Kansas City, MO. She was a loyal loving person who tried to help everyone. Ginger's gift and goal in life was to leave her mark on every heart she touched with love and laughter. She loved her family, and 'Nani' cherished her grandchildren and great-grandson. Ginger will be missed by many and forgotten by few.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack "J.P." Lascuola; parents Manuel and Frances Sciortino; grandson Jaden Waddell; and sister-in-law Anna Marie Sciortino. Survivors include her children, Phillip and Ronda Lascuola, Manuela and John Waddell, Mary-Frances Lascuola and Barbara Kreisel; grandchildren Manuel, Bailey, J.J. and Jack Waddell, Jordan "J.P." and Taylor Lascuola; great-grandson Manuel Waddell; brother John Sciortino; sister and brother-in-law Carol and Larry Morris; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sarah and Jimmy Schnitz, and JoAnn and Mac Ayer; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
