Wayne E. Sweeney, 82, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where a funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery, 614 S Brookside Ave, Independence, MO 64053.
Wayne was born May 28, 1931, in Kansas City, MO. Survivors include his nieces, Tamera Preece, Kelle Stout, and Cathy Stout; and great-nephew, Joshua.
