Wilburn Junior Poe, 86, passed away January 24, 2020. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 29 at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, followed by a 12 p.m. entombment service at Mount Olivet Mausoleum. Please omit flowers.

Junior was born April 25, 1933. He retired from KMBC Channel 9, and was a member of Rising Sun Masonic Lodge #13 A.F. & A.M.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Vona Poe; and his sisters, Dixie Mistretta (Joe) and Rose Sirna (Jerry). He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Evelyn Poe; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
