William L. "Bill" Rutherford, 87, Independence, MO, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011. Visitation will be 11a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, followed by Graveside Services at 1:15 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at www.passantinobros.com.
Bill was born September 18, 1924 in Independence, KS. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was owner of Texas Tom's Drive-In on 24 Hwy.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia (Nicolosi) Rutherford; sister, Marilyn Smalley; sons, Gary Rutherford and Jim Rutherford; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carmeline and Tom Nigro.
