Winifride "Winnie" Dalton Grimsley, 88, Independence, MO, died Novvember 13, 2011. Services will be private.
Winnie was born June 15, 1923, in Manchester, England. She came to the United States on February 26, 1948. She was a seamstress, but most important the glue and backbone of our family. Winnie cared for all, a spot of herb tea or a dose of garlic and honey. She will be forever missed.
Survivors include her children, Gary, Yvonne and Patricia; grandchildren, Wendy, Wesley and Joshua; and great-grandchildren, Dakota, Haley, Madison, and Payton.
