Jerry "Chewy" Treece, 66, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, February 22, 2013. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where a Memorial Service will begin at 6 p.m. Jerry was cremated according to his wishes.

Jerry was born July 15, 1946 in Lebanon, MO. He worked in the dental field for 40 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was selfless, generous and quick-witted. His exceptional sense of humor and laugh will be missed.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Treece. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lou Ann (Cascone) Treece; children, Cristina Treece-Doyle and Tim, Elaina Tumberger, Joe and Jamie Spinello, Luciana and Barry Meinerth; grandchildren, Alexandra, Jake, Anthony, Giavanna, Maya, Sophia, Marlee, and Sydney; his mother, Gertrude Sullivan; and brother, Sam Treece. Other survivors include Rocky & Payton.
