Rosemary LaBruzzo Pisciotta, 62, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, surrounded by friends and family. She battled illness and was a true fighter.

Rosemary was born December 8, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, to Vito and Carol "Rookie" LaBruzzo, who preceded her in death. She was a 1973 graduate of Northeast High School, and worked for the IRS for 25 years. Rosemary was extremely generous. She enjoyed casinos and truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her nephew, Sam Pisciotta. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Matthew Pisciotta; her son, Vito Pisciotta (Staci Pena & Oscar); sisters, Carol LaBruzzo, Vicki LaBruzzo, Christy Maenza (Joe); brother-in-law, Frank Pisciotta (Teresa); nieces and nephews, Rosemary and Sophia Maenza; John Pisciotta (Felicia), Frank Pisciotta (Laurie Ann), Tony George Pisciotta (Antoinette); and many family and friends.

The Rosary will be prayed at 2 p.m., followed by Visitation from 2:30 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 27, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, March 28, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64131, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
