Anna Marie "Mary" Danna, 88, passed away January 13, 2018. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, January 19, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 4:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 20, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 911 E. Missouri Ave., Kansas City, MO 64106. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery.

Mary was born October 18, 1929, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Paul and Jennie (LaSala) Spera. She enjoyed bowling and working in the cafeteria when her children were in school, made the best pizza, and was always a helping hand to those in need.  Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her first-born son; and her brother, Nick Spero. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Mike Danna; her children, Josephine Perez (Rolando), Frank Danna (Joyce), Jeanette Cucolo (Frank), Virginia Thompson (Tommy), Michael Danna (Karen); 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Frances Smith, Rosemary and Charlie Bondi; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Norine Spero, Catherine Danna, Nick Danna, Bonnie and Mike Rowland, and Mary Jo and Mike McCoy.
