Charles E. (Charlie) McGrew, age 91, passed away December 15, 2018. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 21, at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Rd, Leawood, KS 66206. Entombment will follow at Mount Olivet Mausoleum, Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in Charlie's name to the Alzheimer's Association .

Charlie was born December 23, 1926 in Linn County, Kansas to the late Charles B. and Cleopatra May (Stansbury) McGrew. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margie Yvonne McGrew Tolin. Charlie was a US Naval Veteran of World War II and retired Merchandise Manager from Mode O'Day Clothing Company.

The loving father of six is survived by his wife of 67 years Pauline; children Rozanne (Dave), Chuck (Marcia), Diane, Paula (Frank), Karen (Mark), and Suzanne (Robbie); four grandchildren (Christy, Katie, Paul, Laura); and two great-grandchildren (Marley and KC).
