Dottie Fiest, 48, passed away December 12, 2023, at Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation as a result of the fire that took the lives of her husband Brian Fiest and daughter Tena Marie Fiest in 2022.

Dottie was born July 21, 1975. She was very family oriented and in turn they were her inspiration. She volunteered at animal rescue facilities and, along with her husband Brian, owned K-9 Bakery where they made dog treats and necessities.

Dottie is survived by her brother Bradley Gillespie (Christy); two nephews River and Hunter Gillespie; and Brian's family: brothers Ron (Phronsie) and Jeff (Brenda) Fiest; sister Vicki Reagan; several nephews; one great-niece; and two great-nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 23, at Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City North.
