Mark Phillip Ross, 59, tragically lost his life on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our husband, son, brother, father, uncle and friend. If you were lucky enough to know Mark, you were blessed to know the most happy, loving and jovial man.

Mark was born on October 15, 1963, in Kansas City, MO, to his parents Charles Michael Ross and Joyce Ann Scheele. He was also fortunate to have a caring stepfather, David Eugene Scheele. Growing up in Johnson County, Mark called Overland Park, Olathe and most recently Spring Hill, KS home.

Mark's career was marked by his exceptional skills as a master mechanic. He worked at Aristocrat Motors and Superior Lexus before becoming a Service Manager at Olathe Kia. He recently worked at Shawnee Auto Center. He was highly regarded in his field and always went above and beyond for his customers.

Outside of work, Mark was a passionate fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and motor sports. His greatest joy though was gatherings with his friends and family creating cherished memories.

Mark is survived by his wife of 34 years, Teresa Gayle Ross. He was also a caring father figure to Cory Lee Brown and Casey Joe Brown (Michelle). He leaves behind his mother Joyce A. Scheele, his siblings Mike Ross (Jason), Pat Ross (LeAnne), Jeff Ross (Robin), Beth Smith (Greg), Dawn Sprague, Jeff Scheele (Stephanie), Chris Scheele, Matt Ross (Michelle), and Michelle Ross, as well as countless nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his father Charles Michael Ross, his stepfather David Eugene Scheele, sisters-in-law Missy Hood and Melissa Ross, and brother-in-law Doug Sprague.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.
