Frank G.
Accurso
May 6, 1939 — Jul 30, 2026
Frank G. Accurso, 87, of Lee's Summit, Mo., passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026. Services will be held August 7, at Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church in Lee's Summit, MO. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memories and stories of Frank shared with loved ones.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Accurso ; his parents Mike and Lena Accurso; brother Walter Accurso; brother-in-law Mike Cannova; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is survived by his son, Michael Accurso; daughter Mary Davis (Tom); stepdaughter Tami McCormick; grandchildren Nicolas Davis (Aundraya), Marlena Davis, Jake, Josh, Joe, and Sarah McCormick; great-grandchildren Tommy and Rhys Davis, Kennedy and Knox Badertscher; sister Catherine Cannova; nieces Carmela Meyer (Larry) and Carolyn Kirk (Kevin); and great-nephews Michael and Sam Kirk.
Frank proudly served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964, then built a lasting career in the paint business. He was quick to laugh and always ready with a story — especially the old times, which he loved to tell again and again. He cherished his family above all else, lighting up at any chance to gather his grandchildren around the table for a big pasta dinner. Ever the handyman, he was always willing to lend a hand and fix whatever needed fixing. He will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and the deep love he had for his family.
Frank will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife, Rosa, whose ashes will be interred with him, reuniting them forever.
