Louann (Cascone)
Treece
Sep 15, 1948 — Feb 7, 2025
With love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of LouAnn (Cascone) Treece on February 7, 2025. She was the heart of her family, bringing joy, laughter, and a touch of mischief to every gathering. Whether she was cooking up a feast, sharing a story, or making everyone laugh with her quick wit, she made every moment special.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry W. Treece , and her parents, Vita and Sam Cascone.
She is survived by a family who adored her: her aunt, Marie Messina; her sister, Maria Cascone; her brothers, Frank and George; and her children, Elaina (Tony) Dougherty, Joe (Jamie) Spinello III, Luciana (Barry) Meinerth, and Cristina (Ryan) Law.
Her greatest joy was her grandchildren—(but really her son Joe John), Alexandra (Tyler) Walton, Jake Tumberger, Anthony, Giavanna, Maya, and Sophia Spinello, Marlee and Sydney Meinerth, Dylan and Drew Law—who will always remember her warmth, humor, and endless love. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Teagan and Mason Walton, who brought her so much happiness.
She lived life with an open heart and a playful spirit, always ready with a smile, a story, or a helping hand. She was also a passionate sports fan, never missing a chance to cheer for her favorite teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. Her loyalty and enthusiasm made every game day a celebration. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A special thank you to Jamie Spinello for her tireless energy and caregiving over these last few years, Vincent Cascone for being there for her through treatments, and Faith Home Health & Hospice.
Services will be held on Sunday, February 16, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home. The Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 p.m. followed by Visitation at 1:00 p.m. and a Celebration of Life at 3:30 p.m.
