Matthew Anthony Pisciotta, 68, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on April 3, 2021. The Rosary will be prayed at 3:30 p.m. followed by Visitation 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 8 at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, KCMO. Family & Friends will gather on Friday, April 9 at St. John LaLande Catholic Church, Blue Springs, MO, where the Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Matt was born October 1, 1952 to the late Sam and Edith (Stabile) Pisciotta. He worked for Berbiglia Wine & Spirits for 35 years before he retired. A man of simple tastes, he enjoyed a good cigar and watching baseball. Matt was married for 38 years to the love of his life Rosemary LaBruzzo Pisciotta , who preceded him in death in 2017. He spent his last years in the loving company of his son, daughter-in-law, and grandson.

Along with his parents and wife, Matt was preceded in death by his in-laws Vito and Carol "Rookie" LaBruzzo, and his nephew Sam Pisciotta. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Vito and Staci (Pena) Pisciotta; his grandson Oscar; brother Frank Pisciotta (Teresa); sisters-in-law, Carol LaBruzzo, Vicki LaBruzzo, Christy Maenza (Joe); nieces and nephews, Rosemary Maenza, Sophia Maenza, John Pisciotta (Felicia), Frank Pisciotta (Laurie), Tony George Pisciotta (Antoinette); uncle George Stabile (Ken Howell); aunt Rosalie Pisciotta; and special friend Janet Mancuso.

The family would like to thank his caregiver Crystal Headley for the excellent care she provided.
