Brendan was born September 16, 1961, in Independence, MO. He was a 1979 graduate of St. Mary's High School, where he lettered in football, basketball, and track, and where he met his future wife Gina. He worked at UPS for 28 years as a driver, senior account supervisor, and security & loss prevention supervisor. Brendan, though, was an entrepreneur at heart, as he and Gina started and ran several businesses including dance studios, a daycare center, and most recently pest control. Beyond work, Brendan loved people. He always had a story or joke in the ready and never met a stranger. He will be deeply missed.

Brendan was preceded in death by his father Harold Redmond Teevan, his brother James Anthony Teevan , and his father-in-law Robert D. Smith . He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Gina Teevan; his daughters, Bailey and Delaney, who he was so proud of; his mother, Calista Mira Teevan; siblings, Debbie Emo (Robert), Grace Davidson (Mickey), Kevin Teevan (Rhonda), Joanie Pulliam (Brent); mother-in-law, Wanda Smith; siblings-in-law, Chris Smith (Cynthia), and Savana Taylor (Robert); and many nieces and nephews.
